I, Jade Laura Curley, have lost 2lb this week, which totals 10lb since new year, which totals 1st 4lb since September. Chuff-oed! I lost some weight over the summer but then put it back on plus a little more because Australia made me eat Tim Tams. I’m still a fatty, though. Not as much, but I still gots to get riddo this belluh!
I’m doing the Great Midlands in June as an incentive to get fit and lose flab, and also because I let myself down horribly last year. I trained at the uni gym for weeks, building up my stamina and the like, running for forty minutes at a really good pace without slowing, running even faster, uphill…I went home one weekend, was feeling pretty good about the course I’d planned to run, got to the end of my road and died.
Let the lesson be this: TREADMILLS ARE LYING BARSTUDS!
I had no time to start training again and was well annoyed as it was the first time they sent out these tags to tie onto your shoe. They get scanned as you get to the finish line. I had a good number, too! Nob.
